Saturday mornings were made for editing on the back porch!
Much better watching the WS at 7am with a cup of coffee. What a game.
Thanks to Judges 29, Sunday lunch consisted of questions from the kids about concubines.
I am a pastor at The Church at Cherrydale in Greenville, SC I married Sarah in 2003, and we have four children: Corrie, Avery, Hudson, and Willa.
I completed my formal education in 2015, earning a PhD in Applied Theology from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Along with this degree, I also have a MDiv from Southeastern and a MA in Biblical Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
I've served on a church staff since 1998. Before coming to Cherrydale, I served alongside the great team at Crosspoint Church in Clemson, SC. They sent us back to Greenville to start a church in 2009, and I've served as teaching pastor in this church for the last six years.
My passions for pastoral ministry and discipleship have led me to write a number of books and articles related to these topics. I hope you will find these written resources helpful and encouraging as you seek to make disciples, love the church, or lead God's people.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if I can do anything to serve or equip you or your church. Check back often for new resources - I've always got a few fun projects in the works!
I'm humbled and grateful that you'd care enough to read my feeble thoughts and pray God uses them to bless you greatly.
